To evaluate the performance of a processor, we conduct so-called "benchmarks". These benchmarks involve specialized calculations performed by software to evaluate a processor's capabilities. We use both theoretical or synthetic benchmarks (e.g., Cinebench) and real-world application benchmarks. To ensure comparability of results, we make sure that benchmarks are executed correctly and that the processor and system are in good condition.
